On July 2, 1937, midnight GMT, Earhart and Noonan took off from Lae Airfield in the heavily loaded Electra. 


In memory on the 80th anniversary of Earhart’s fly around world, 4D model of her airplane (Lockheed Electra 10E Special-NR16020) is revealed on July 2, the day of her last take off.
